What is eco-net.ee? Eco-net.ee – a source of information for sustainable enterprisers. Eco-net.ee is the Internet portal for environmental managers. It is one of the results in HERMES II project (November 2005–October 2007). Eco-net consists of important environmental information mainly for enterprises, but also for other targets. The portal includes various topics in different environmental issues as well as relevant news and legislation for environmental managers. It also includes information about seminars, publication and articles in a field of environmental management and sustainability. There is a forum on the portal to make communication between the site visitors feasible. What is HERMES II? HERMES II (Health-Environment-Risk Managers Educational Support) is an international project for environmental managers in order to increase the awareness of environmental issues in enerprisers and is supported by Leonardo da Vinci program. The main target group for this project is industry including small to medium sized enterprises. However, most of the project products will be also useful for students, or for public administration employees. The main outputs of the project are 1) the Internet portal eco-net.ee 2) quarterly established bulletin and 3) Internet e-learning platform that is due to be launched in May 2007. All the projects results are produced in Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish and English. |
